Terms & Conditions

 

  • You may use your credit card on Paypal to pay for purchases.  There is no charge to you and you do not need to join Paypal to use your Credit card.
  • We use the check out security of Paypal which accepts your Visa or Mastercard credit card for payment.  
  • Christmas Village Shop does not process or keep any data about your credit card.
  • If paying by cheque, the cheque must clear before your order is shipped.  This takes 5 business days for Canadian cheques and longer for International cheques.
  • You may also make payment by etransfer.
  • Money Orders are also accepted.
  • Please note that prices may change without notice.  However we strive to maintain accurate website pricing.
  • Christmas Village Shop is not responsible for product or pricing changes by the manufacturer.
  • The purchaser is responsible for all duties, taxes, fees, and/or other charges on International shipments. The Postal Service and UPS will collect any duties, taxes or fees prior to final delivery
  • Shipments to the USA are Duty Free in most States for orders under $200.  You are responsible for confirming your own duty free levels.
  • If you provide an incorrect shipping address or you refuse the order you will be responsible for any return shipping charges.
  • A 15% restocking fee may apply.
  • Defective and/or damaged merchandise will always be replaced when possible.

Returns

  • Upon receipt of your purchase if there is a problem we would be pleased to exchange the item or refund your purchase.
  • All returns are subject to us receiving your claim within 10 business days of receiving your order.
  •  Items must be returned with their original packaging and must still be in an unused and saleable condition.
  • Please complete the ‘Return Form’ on our website and email to cvs.questions@gmail.com.
  • A replacement item will be shipped upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item.
  • The purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs to return goods to Christmas Village Shop
  • Christmas Village Shop does not accept COD deliveries.
  • If items are damaged in shipment, a claim will be filed with the shipper and a replacement item shipped.
  • Defective and/or damaged merchandise will always be replaced when possible.
  • Christmas Decorations are not accepted back for exchange or refund after Christmas, December 25th.

Shipping

  • Our preferred shipper is Purolator.  We can investigate your choice of shipper and inform you of the shipping costs prior to shipping. We also offer shipping via Canada Post and UPS within Canada
  • Orders shipping outside of Canada will be shipped via Canada Post, Purolator or UPS.
  • Express methods of shipping are available and will be displayed to you during the check out process.
  • If you provide an incorrect shipping address or you refuse the order you will be responsible for any return shipping charges.

 

Sendle Shipping Method

  • If you select Sendle to ship to an apartment or condo you are responsible for all damaged products or lost shipments.  By clicking the Box below you are accepting that you are responsible for all damage costs and lost shipments. Please select a different shipping option if you do not agree.
  • Sendle does not take signatures
    • You are responsible for the package once it is dropped off at your ship to location
  • Sendle does not ship to a Postal Box
  • Sendle only drops off at the Front door, back door or other safe location at your residence.
  • Sendle does not take special requests for destination drop off locations or times
  • You are responsible for lost and damaged shipments to your apartment or Condo address.

International Orders

  • International order payments are accepted via Paypal, which accepts credit card payments.
  • We are currently unable to ship to EU countries.
  • Payments made by cheque must clear in our bank before your order is released for shipping.
  • The purchaser is responsible for all duties, taxes, fees, and/or other charges on the product shipment.
  • The purchaser is responsible for any return shipping charges for refused orders.
  • We prefer to ship using Canada Post for International orders.
  • We are not responsible for shipment delays due to any government customs assessment. Please allow sufficient time for your order!
  • Ground and Surface service means by Sea if you are not in North America.  Ship times are 1 to 4 months to locations by sea.
  • International Customers are responsible for supplying their own adaptors for local power source connections.  All Electrical products supplied are North American Standards.
  • Note: International shipping rates are very high.  For some International shipments the cost of shipping can exceed the product costs.
